Beirut Baklava is a modern gourmand with a vintage spirit... a love letter to Beirut and the sweets that glaze its history. It opens with sparkling bergamot, sweetened by syrupy orange blossom and spiced with green cardamom, an aromatic wink to the Levant’s spice-laced desserts. The heart melts into soft vanilla cream, fluffed with heliotrope, which then leads into our signature baklava accord: Toasted, nutty, syrupy, and buttery facets marry together the senses of taste and smell.
The dry-down is unforgettable: subtle leather intertwined with vanilla absolute and aged cedarwood ground the gourmand warmth with texture and depth, evoking the ambiance of an old Beirut pastry shop. These matured notes– laced with sugar and butter– carry you into the shop's walls aged by decades of baking, where the air is filled with the scent of toasted nuts, sweet syrup, and the shuffle of worn leather bags and bustling hands.

HOW TO USE
With fragrance, each spray is meant to be magnetic. To make the most out of each spray, apply in the creases of your elbows, wrists, and nape of the neck to ensure intensity and wearability.
For the best performance, be sure to only spray the perfume onto the skin. Do not dab or rub. Doing so will break down the fragrance particles, causing the fragrance to decrease in intensity quickly.
Spray and reapply as desired. This is an extrait, so not many sprays are needed to leave an impression.

THE NOSE BEHIND BEIRUT BAKLAVA
When I create a fragrance, I try to put an emotion in a bottle — an emotion that can turn into an unforgettable situation, and whenever you smell it, you feel the fond memories come flooding back.
Kheir turned to Shadi Samra to build Beirut Baklava — a nose with nearly 20 years in the industry and a resume that includes Fragrance du Bois and Memoirs of a Perfume Collector. He's a member of the Fragrance Foundation Arabia board of directors and has judged the Fragrance Oscars for eight years running.
Shadi describes himself as a lover of natural ingredients and an advocate for sourcing them sustainably — and for him, fragrance is memory: the stronger the scent, the better it holds one.
